As a dog owner, I have known zooplus for several years. I remember often thinking: it would be nice to work for a company that allows me to combine my greatest passions, pets and technology. And here I am! I started working in the Italian office (yes, the one with the spectacular view of the port of Genoa!) in 2017, with a young and close-knit team. The company moves and grows fast, so you have to be quick to adapt but this is a continuous stimulus to improve.

I joined the Italian team in December 2016 as intern after a degree in Humanities, and after a few month I fully got in this international company. I could highlight a lot of strengths here in zooplus, but I would dare to say that the main two points are the stimulant and challenging atmosphere and the open minded, friendly and professional environment at the same time. Curiously, I am not only an employee of zooplus, but a customer too! My darling Step, a 10 years blond dog, is my sweet little friend, and he is the number one fan of zooplus! I actually do not know what it my future has in store for me, but one thing is sure: this is only the beginning and all the best is yet to come!

I’ve joined the zoo in August 2015 as Regional Category Manager for Italy. I especially like the “commercial side” of my job: manage the relation with suppliers, analyze and improve our assortment. Here I’ve the opportunity to develop my managerial skills in a professional but in the same time friendly environment. If a candidate wants to be part of a “2.0 management style” company he/she will be in the right place! zooplus is a perfect company where developing new competences in an international, young and dynamic environment. So, if you’re looking for a fast-growing company; an environment that encourage the personal empowerment; the openness on new solutions; the “continuous improvement” approach; a good team projected to the future … you should apply for zooplus!
